Ecosphere EMS is committed to respecting the privacy of website users, particularly regarding the processing of their personal data.

Under Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016, information may be collected and recorded in a computerized file managed by Ecosphere EMS, Rue de Baume, 45 La Louvière – 7100 Belgium. This processing is based on the following purpose(s): sending communications as well as providing services and updates offered by Ecosphere EMS in these various areas. This data will be kept as long as the user’s registration is active. In case of user unsubscription, Ecosphere EMS undertakes to delete the data in its possession.

By accessing the Ecosphere EMS website, and particularly by subscribing to the Newsletter or using the Contact, Book, or Call buttons, the user gives clear and unambiguous consent to the processing of their personal data by Ecosphere EMS. The user is informed that they have the right to withdraw their consent. If this right is exercised, the user’s personal data will no longer be processed.

Website users are informed that, under the aforementioned European regulation, they have various rights: the right to access their personal data, the right to rectification, erasure, and objection, and the right to data portability. Ecosphere EMS reserves the right to monitor and examine information related to messages, such as content, origin, or destination, if it reasonably believes that all or part of these communications concern illegal or unlawful activities, or if ordered by competent authorities. Unless monitoring is performed at the request of competent authorities, Ecosphere EMS’s monitoring will be limited to public or non-confidential messages, i.e., information on a web page, forum posts, or email communications, without this list being exhaustive.

Ecosphere EMS undertakes to:

  1. respect users’ rights;
  2. process only data related to the determined purpose(s);
  3. provide, upon the user’s explicit request, personal data as soon as possible;
  4. ensure the confidentiality of collected data;
  5. adopt the required levels of personal data protection and implement all technical means and measures to prevent loss, misuse, alteration, leakage, unauthorized access, and theft of data.
